My business savvy has been hard won, learning it in the frontline trenches of the very competitive training industry in North America, Asia and the Middle East. My business knowledge has been supplemented with a Masters in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resource development. In addition, I have completed the Certified Executive Coach program at Royal Roads University.

A common theme has emerged from each of my various roles in organizations over the last 20 years, I have come to the understanding that my greatest pleasure is partnering with senior leaders in organizations and assisting them in developing both their personal and organizational capacities.

I have spent the last 25 years working in the Emergency Medical Services in various roles. I started as a street paramedic and finished as the Director of the Paramedic Academy at the Justice Institute of BC. This was a very unusual college in that we were required, by our funding model, to compete for contracts in order to maintain our existence. Apart from providing pre hospital training programs for the residents of BC I have been a part of, or Directed the development of business opportunities in Hong Kong, Malaysia, UAE, Shanghai, Beijing and with the Canadian Armed Forces.

Personal Background: Married with three twenty something kids. I enjoy fishing, hiking, golf, kayaking and anything outdoors.
