Research Case Studies.
While every organization is different, we offer some brief case studies to give you an example of how we have measured coaching within organizations.
- A large, local government unit engaged Full Spectrum Coaching to implement a pilot program with its leadership. As part of the project, Full Spectrum designed a tool to measure coaching effectiveness. This survey was based on leadership competencies identified by the government unit as critical for its future leaders. The survey was designed to collect data from both pilot participants and a comparison group of other managers using a pre- and post model.
- A large regional health plan in the United States requested research on the effects of coaching as part of a major coaching initiative. The two-part research was designed and conducted by Full Spectrum. The first part included a culture survey before the coaching engagement and after the coaching was complete. Detailed analysis was conducted, including looking for differences pre- and post, differences between business units, differences based on whether the respondent had received coaching. The second part consisted of a coach satisfaction survey that was provided to all participants, measuring their satisfaction with their coach, the coaching process, and the outcomes they achieved. It also gathered information about changes they have made as a result of coaching.
